Our Mission
Welcome to Brick Engaged Foundation, a pioneering charity dedicated to providing LEGO-based play and building sessions for neurodivergent children. At Brick Brick Enagaged Foundation, we believe that every child deserves an opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. By harnessing the power of LEGO bricks, we have created a unique program that fosters meaningful social interaction, communication skills, and cognitive development while embracing the inherent joy of play.
Neurodivergent children, such as those on the autism spectrum or with ADHD, often face challenges in social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation. Traditional therapy approaches may not always resonate with them, making it difficult for them to fully engage and benefit from the interventions. That's where LEGO-based session comes in.
LEGO-based sessions utilizes the universal appeal of LEGO bricks to create a structured and collaborative setting for children to engage in purposeful play. Through carefully designed activities and facilitated group sessions, children work together to build LEGO models, solve problems, and engage in cooperative play. This process provides a framework for developing and practicing essential skills, including turn-taking, sharing, following instructions, problem-solving, and effective communication.
We understand that each child is unique, and our program is tailored to meet their individual needs. Our dedicated team have valuable lived experience, knowledge and skills to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Through our Lego-based sessions, we aim to empower neurodivergent children to develop the skills and confidence they need to navigate the world around them successfully.
We also recognize the importance of collaboration and support from families, schools, and the wider community. We actively engage parents and caregivers, providing them with feedback, guidance, and opportunities to participate in their child's building journey. We are also open with schools and other organizations to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for neurodivergent children.
The Brick Enagaged Foundation's mission is to build connections, one brick at a time. We believe in the transformative power of play and its ability to create positive, lasting change in the lives of neurodivergent children. Through our Lego-based program, we are committed to helping these children reach their full potential and achieve meaningful social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Join us in making a difference in the lives of neurodivergent children and together, let's build a brighter future.
